Iran Weighs Holding Presidential, Parliamentary Elections Simultaneously in 2028
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Interior Ministry spokesperson said authorities are exploring the possibility of holding the country’s presidential and parliamentary elections simultaneously in 2028, while ruling out the inclusion of local council elections in the same process due to legal restrictions.
