Israel strikes Lebanon as U.S.-brokered ceasefire yet to take hold, according to Lebanese president
Lebanon's president has said a U.S.-brokered ceasefire that the country and Israel agreed to the previous evening could come into force within 24 hours, according to local media, but militant group Hezbollah has not signed on as Israel's military vows to continue striking the south of Lebanon.
